THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION BASED IN BANGALORE THE ROLE Responsibilities As Senior Manager – FP&A, you will play a key leadership role within the Finance team at MPOWER. You will be responsible for driving our financial planning and strategic decision-making processes, partnering with business leaders to align resources with company objectives, and delivering insights that shape the future of the business. You will own critical aspects of planning, forecasting, business analysis, and financial modeling. Your work will directly impact how MPOWER scales its operations and allocates resources to fuel mission-driven growth. This is a high-visibility role with opportunities to shape financial processes and strategy as we prepare for long-term scale. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Leading the development, management, and analysis of the annual operating plan and long-range planning models Collaborating across functional areas (Payroll, HR, Marketing, Analytics, Credit, Strategy) to plan and forecast P&L and balance sheet line items Partnering with department leaders to track budget vs. actuals and drive accountability through deep variance analysis and financial storytelling Owning regular forecasting cadence and supporting scenario planning based on market shifts, growth strategies, and performance trends Designing and enhancing dynamic financial models that support strategic decision-making and capital allocation Building and optimizing scalable, automated reporting tools and dashboards in collaboration with Analytics and Tech teams Driving continuous improvements in FP&A processes, tools, and business partnering models to support a rapidly growing and complex business The Qualifications Graduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or another quantitative field Professional qualification preferred (CA, CPA, CFA, CMA, CA Inter). 8+ years of experience within the Finance function of a fast-paced, tech-driven company or with relevant experience in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate finance. Knowledge of financial and accounting best practices, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Proven ability to execute and drive results with cross-functional teams Expert experience with Excel and PowerPoint, Salesforce CRM experience preferred Superior verbal and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences A passion for financial inclusion and access to higher education is a must, as well as comfortable working with a global team across multiple-time zones and sites! In addition, you should be comfortable working in a fast growth environment, meaning a small agile team, fast-evolving roles and responsibilities, variable workload and tight deadlines, a high degree of autonomy, and 80-20 everything.
