Role Requirement: Credit Risk Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional with around 5 years of experience in credit risk assessment and analytics. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to present findings to senior business and analytics stakeholders effectively. The successful candidate will engage in comprehensive reviews across the first, second, and third lines of defense while utilizing analytical skills to model and assess product performance. Additionally, the candidate will have strong business knowledge, banking domain experience, and any experience in collections strategy will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: Deep understanding of credit cards and lending products, Conduct credit risk assessments to identify potential issues and recommend solutions. Develop and apply financial models to evaluate credit risk and product performance while analyzing data trends to inform decision-making and strategic planning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance risk management strategies. Strong presentation skills to showcase findings to senior business and analytics stakeholders, clearly articulating recommendations and critiques of product policies. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Preferred skills include proficiency in data analysis tools and software, knowledge of financial modeling, and experience in risk management frameworks. Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to credit products and experience in the banking sector, particularly with credit risk assessment. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in credit review, Credit risk assessment, or a related area. Proven experience in financial modeling and data analysis. Strong proficiency in Python/Pyspark and SQL. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Skills and Competence: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and lines of defense. Proficiency in project management and ability to lead cross-functional teams. Adaptability to changing regulatory environments and business needs.
