Role Overview:


Senior Investment Reporting Associate


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead preparation of regular (monthly/quarterly) and ad-hoc investment performance reports for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee maintenance and updating of client portfolios, dashboards, and data visualizations.
  • Coordinate with Portfolio Management, Accounting, Finance, Operations & other cross-functional teams to gather data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure consistency across reports.
  • Calculate and analyze client-level metrics: performance, attribution, risk measures, fees, contributions/distributions, NAV, etc.
  • Manage investor communications: pitch decks, investment review presentations, reports, responses to investor/consultant questionnaires.
  • Monitor cash flows, margin requirements, capital calls, and excess/idle cash deployment in line with policy.
  • Implement and refine reporting tools, templates, automation (in Excel, BI tools, etc.) to improve efficiency, reduce manual reconciliation.
  • Lead process improvements: identify bottlenecks, gaps in data/data flows, implement controls to ensure data integrity.
  • Mentor/coach junior associates in the team: reviewing their reports, guiding on best practices, quality of output.
  • Ensure all reporting meet regulatory, audit, and internal control standards.


Skills & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics or related). Often, advanced degree or relevant certification (CFA, FRM, etc.) is a plus.
  • 5+ years

    of relevant experience in investment reporting, fund accounting, performance & risk reporting, or related finance function.
  • Strong proficiency in

    MS Excel

    (advanced functions, modeling, pivot tables) and PowerPoint. Experience with BI / data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) is very desirable.
  • Good understanding of financial markets, asset classes (equity, fixed income, derivatives, alternatives), and performance / risk metrics / attribution.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication & presentation skills — ability to produce polished deliverables.
  • High attention to detail & strong analytical mindset; ability to juggle multiple deliverables under tight timelines.
  • Experience in process improvement / automation and ability to suggest & implement refinements.
  • Ability to work well in cross-functional teams. Leadership skills (even informal) to guide juniors and stakeholders.
