Job Summary:

Senior Event Manager


Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Event Planning & Leadership:

  • Lead the conceptualisation, design, and execution of corporate wellness, fitness, and engagement events.
  • Develop event strategies aligned with client objectives and Dare2Gear’s brand values.
  • Define event goals, timelines, and key deliverables in coordination with internal and client teams.
  • Innovate and implement experiential ideas that enhance brand impact and participant engagement.

2. Operations & Logistics Management:

  • Oversee all operational elements — logistics, travel, accommodation, equipment, safety, and on-ground execution.
  • Ensure seamless coordination of all event materials, technology, and support systems.
  • Supervise venue setup, branding, AV, and production to ensure a high-quality event experience.
  • Anticipate and mitigate operational risks with proactive contingency planning.

3. Client & Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for corporate clients and key partners.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with HR, CSR, and marketing teams of partner organisations.
  • Present event concepts, proposals, and post-event reports to clients and management.
  • Manage client expectations while maintaining Dare2Gear’s operational standards and profitability.

4. Vendor & Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of event executives, coordinators, and on-ground crew.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage vendors and suppliers — ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.
  • Negotiate contracts, evaluate performance, and maintain professional partnerships.

5. Financial Oversight:

  • Prepare and manage event budgets, cost projections, and expense tracking.
  • Ensure events are executed within approved budgets while optimising resource utilisation.
  • Approve vendor invoices and manage financial reconciliation post-event.

6. Post-Event Reporting & Evaluation:

  • Lead post-event debriefs to analyse event performance, client feedback, and ROI.
  • Prepare detailed event reports highlighting outcomes, learnings, and recommendations.
  • Use insights to continuously refine processes and enhance event quality.

7. Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, budgets, permissions, and vendor details.
  • Ensure all events adhere to legal, safety, and brand compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and content teams for pre- and post-event communications.


Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).

Experience:

6–8 years of experience in event management, preferably handling corporate wellness, experiential, or large-scale engagement events


Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven leadership and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent client communication and presentation skills.
  • Expertise in logistics planning, vendor management, and budget control.
  • Strong creative and problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in event management tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to travel and work evenings or weekends as per event schedules.
