What You'll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of AI-driven solutions to strengthen governance processes, enhance transactional systems, and optimize operational workflows.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of governance, data, and AI professionals capable of driving enterprise-scale transformation.
- Collaborate with top-tier universities and research institutions in India for recruitment and cutting-edge AI/governance partnerships.
- Partner with senior individual contributors and leadership teams in the United States to align strategies and drive innovation in global governance and transactional systems.
- Ensure seamless execution of Walmart’s global governance frameworks and AI transformation strategy, driving consistency across geographies.
- Build strong partnerships with global business units, regional leaders, and local teams to accelerate AI-enabled governance adoption.
- Maintain strong awareness of regulatory, governance, and AI market trends; track competitive dynamics to refine Walmart’s governance and technology strategies.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in AI/ML strategy, data governance, and digital transformation at scale.
- Experienced leader in compliance, ethics, customer privacy, and governance, preferably in the retail or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of successful technology strategy and implementation with measurable and significant business impact.
- Strong experience in building and managing high-performing technology and governance teams.
- Ability to translate complex AI/technology capabilities into governance frameworks, policies, and business outcomes.
- Ability to build compelling business cases and ROIs, and proactively drive business insights and optimizations.
- Capitalize on domain expertise by identifying and anticipating market opportunities, overseeing competitive assessments, and facilitating disruptive innovation opportunities.
- Experience collaborating with academic institutions and industry leaders.
- Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, or related field and 8 years’ experience in product management or related field OR 10 years’ experience in product management or related field.
- 4 years' experience building and leading high performing teams.
- 6 years' experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- 12 years’ experience in leading product or solution development.
- 12 years’ experience gathering, identifying, defining, and communicating requirements.
- 10 years’ experience consulting and advising business partners utilizing detailed analysis.
- 6 years' experience building and leading high performing teams.
- Proven track record of successful product creation with measurable and significant business impact
