Sr. Power

In this role, you will have following responsibilities –

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with the Business Stakeholders, Engineering teams, Project Managers, Product Owners and Business Analysts to:

Responsibilities

• Drive customer conversations

  to define the requirements and overall technical solutions

  for data and related applications.
• Help create the

  Center of Excellence (CoE)

  model within Client’s environment and be an active member to lead BI initiatives.
• Help define the

  metrics and KPI development

  for effective decision-making.
• Lead the development of KPI dashboards in

  Power BI

  .

• Integrate various data sources to create data visualizations

  based on business requirements.
• Create a

  data strategy and data model

  to formulate a unified data layer for bringing metrics data from various data analytics tools.
• Lead

  Power BI Performance optimization

  and

  Security implementation.

• Design reporting solutions using

  DAX

  queries.
• Implement

  Gateways

  , as necessary.
• Work with

  Power Apps and/or Power Automate

  , as per the requirements.
• Customize visualizations using external JavaScript libraries to enhance the dashboard design as per the user experience requirements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI architecture and development.

• 4+ years of experience in strategic data planning, standards, procedures, and governance.
• 4+ years of experience in data quality engineering, metadata consolidation and integration, metadata model development and maintenance, repository management etc.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in integrating data sources within the Power BI environment.
• Experience implementing and working with

  Gateways

  .
• Understanding of

  Power Apps

  and

  Power Automate

  .
• Understanding of SSRS, SSAS and SSIS.
• 1+ years of experience in Python scripting.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience in implementing and using

  CI/CD framework

  technologies such as Jenkins or Bamboo and overall understanding of code management using GIT.
• Experience with RESTful Web Service Design
• Experience with

  AWS, Azure

  or other Cloud-based PaaS/SaaS environments.
• Experience with technologies and frameworks such as SQL Server, PostGres SQL, MongoDB, NoSQL.
• 3+ years of experience working as a member of an Agile team.
• Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
