Senior Power BI Developer

In this role, you will have following responsibilities;

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with Data Engineers, Project Managers, Product Owners and Business Analysts to:

Responsibilities:

• Drive customer conversations

  to define the requirements and overall technical solutions

  for data and related applications
• Help define

  the metrics and KPI development

  for effective decision-making
• Lead the architecture and technical development of

  KPI dashboards

  in

  Power BI

• Integrate various data sources to create data visualizations based on business requirements.

• Create a

  data strategy and data model

  to formulate a unified data layer for bringing metrics data from various data analytics tools
• Transform and curate the data using

  Python scripts for visualization

  readiness
• Customize visualizations using external JavaScript libraries to enhance the dashboard design as per the user experience requirements

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in

  Power BI development

• 7+ years of experience in

  strategic data planning, standards, procedures, and governance

• 7+ years of experience in data quality engineering, metadata consolidation and integration, metadata model development and maintenance, repository management etc.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in integrating data sources within the

  Power BI and Domo / Tableau

  environment
• 2+ years of experience in

  Python development

• 2+ years of experience in

  Domo / Tableau

  development preferred
• 2+ year of hands-on experience in implementing and using

  CI/CD framework

  technologies such as Jenkins or Bamboo and overall understanding of code management using GIT
• Experience with technologies and frameworks such as SQL Server, MongoDB, NoSQL
• Experienced in writing

  DAX queries

• Understanding of

  SSRS, SSAS and SSIS

• Experience with

  RESTful Web Service Design

• Experience with

  Azure, AWS

  or other Cloud-based PaaS/SaaS environments
• Understanding of

  Microsoft Power Platform

  is a plus
• 3+ years of experience working as a member of an Agile team
• Excellent communication and project coordination skills
