Senior Business Intelligence Developer

As a People BI Developer at LSEG, you will be a key member of the People Data & Insights team, responsible for developing, deploying, and enhancing business intelligence solutions primarily using Power BI. Your role will involve creating user-centric dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights that inform people strategy and measure outcomes. You will also play a crucial role in shaping reporting standards, harmonizing the BI estate, and promoting self-service adoption within the People Function. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, build, and maintain sophisticated Power BI dashboards and paginated reports for data-driven decision-making. - Develop robust semantic models and calculation layers to ensure accuracy, performance, and ease of use. - Fulfill on-demand reporting requests on People data with clear scoping and reusability. - Lead reporting standards to ensure reliable, accurate monthly reporting. - Harmonize existing dashboards, consolidate key metrics, and enhance user experience. - Coach global partners on self-service analytics and promote certified datasets. - Act as a technical lead for BI architecture, data modeling, performance tuning, and governance. - Integrate Workday Reporting extracts and other HR systems data into governed data pipelines. - Ensure strong governance including data privacy, access controls, and clear documentation. - Continuously improve BI solutions, supervise performance, and drive adoption and impact. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong expertise in Power BI including data modeling, DAX, and governance at scale. - Experience with Workday Reporting and Alteryx for data preparation is highly desirable. - Hands-on experience with people analytics platforms such as OneModel or Visier. - Previous experience in People/HR business intelligence within an international environment. - Proficiency in BI authoring, UX design for analytics, and executive-level storytelling. - Project and product management skills with a customer-focused approach. - Ability to collaborate with diverse teams, strong communication, and influencing skills. - Adaptive working style, resilience, and commitment to ethical analytics and privacy. - Data-led and technology-savvy attitude with a willingness to learn and improve.
