Senior Business Intelligence Developer

As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a crucial role within our Technology Organization, specifically in the Information Solutions function. Your primary responsibility will involve developing and supporting data platforms, pipelines, and analytics to facilitate well-informed business decisions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key as you implement modern data engineering practices to construct scalable, secure, and actionable business intelligence solutions. Your duties will include designing and developing ETL processes using SSIS for data integration from various source systems, creating and maintaining dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI and SSRS, ensuring data quality through robust validation and transformation logic, contributing to the development and maintenance of data dictionaries and catalogs, providing data marts and lakes to meet business intelligence requirements, translating business needs into analytical models and actionable insights, working closely with stakeholders to define, develop, and verify data solutions, leading and participating in BI solution design, development, and testing, automating data workflows and integration pipelines, offering technical support and best practices for the Microsoft BI stack, as well as training users and promoting the adoption of BI tools and reports. The ideal candidate should possess at least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence tools, be proficient in SQL Server databases, have 3+ years of expertise in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), demonstrate proficiency in Power BI dashboard/report development, showcase experience in constructing and supporting large-scale data integration processes, exhibit a strong understanding of data warehouse architectures and dimensional modeling, be skilled in advanced data analysis using Excel, possess excellent communication and technical documentation abilities, and be capable of working autonomously while managing priorities in a dynamic work environment. Additionally, familiarity with other BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView/Sense, MicroStrategy, knowledge of Power BI Cloud Services, exposure to cloud data platforms like Azure, AWS, Snowflake, experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, hands-on experience with advanced analytics tools such as Python, R, Scala, SAS, managing Power BI Report Server, and exposure to data lakes and reference data environments would be advantageous.
