Job Description

Business Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Decision Support

Act as the finance partner for business units/brands to drive growth and profitability.
Provide actionable insights through financial modeling, variance analysis, and ROI evaluation.
Support category/brand heads in strategic initiatives, pricing decisions, and cost optimization.

Financial Planning & Controllership

Lead annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans.
Ensure robust controllership, compliance, and risk management across business units.
Monitor working capital, cash flow, and overall financial health of the portfolio.

Commercial & Supply Chain Finance

Drive financial performance for plants, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
Manage cost efficiencies, productivity, and operational KPIs across the value chain.
Support vendor negotiations, procurement, and contracts from a finance perspective.

Business Reporting

Prepare business performance reports for leadership and board reviews.
Drive standardization of MIS, dashboards, and KPIs for effective decision-making.
Ensure accurate financial reporting aligned with corporate governance standards.

Transformation & Projects

Lead finance transformation projects (ERP, SAP, process digitization, automation).
Implement GST/compliance processes and manage transitions effectively.
Partner on strategic projects including new business launches, R&D investments, and financial inclusion initiatives.

Qualifications

Qualified CA with 6 –12 years of progressive experience in Business Finance / Commercial Finance / Controllership.
Proven experience in
FMCG, Consumer Goods, or Manufacturing
industries preferred.
Strong exposure to
P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and supply chain finance.
Experience in SAP, GST implementation, and finance transformation will be an advantage.
