Senior International Business Development – Roles & Responsibilities

NATURE OF RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE CARRIED OUT

  1. Identify, evaluate, and prioritise high-potential international markets

    for pharmaceutical exports, focusing on long-term business growth and profitability.
  2. Conduct advanced market research and competitive analysis

    to design data-driven business development strategies aligned with global industry trends.
  3. Develop, manage, and strengthen key relationships

    with international clients, distributors, regulatory agencies, and strategic partners.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams

    (Marketing, Regulatory, Logistics, Finance, etc.) to design impactful promotional strategies and market-entry plans.
  5. Represent the company at global trade shows, conferences, and B2B events

    , ensuring high-level networking and quality lead generation.
  6. Lead negotiations and closure of high-value contracts

    , ensuring compliance with international trade norms and company policies.
  7. Demonstrate strong persuasion and leadership skills

    , with the ability to drive targets, mentor junior team members, and influence decision-making.
  8. Stay updated on global pharmaceutical regulations, compliance frameworks, export documentation, and international quality standards.
