About the Role

As a Senior Business Analyst at Propel, you’ll bridge the gap between client needs and technology solutions, ensuring business goals are translated into impactful outcomes. You’ll work with stakeholders, C-suite leaders, and delivery teams to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements while shaping innovative solutions. Beyond requirements, you’ll support delivery alignment, mentor junior analysts, and contribute to process improvements, combining consulting acumen with execution focus.

Key Responsibilities

· Client Relationship & Consulting

o Engage with client stakeholders, including business leaders and technology teams, to elicit, analyze, and prioritize complex business requirements.

o Translate business goals into functional requirements, presenting clear recommendations and proposals.

o Partner with leadership teams to research, structure data, derive insights, and recommend business-aligned solutions.

o Drive opportunities for process and solution improvement, ensuring measurable impact on business outcomes. Serve as the primary delivery contact for the client’s senior stakeholders, ensuring regular governance, escalations, and status updates.

· Solution Design & Delivery

o Own the documentation of requirements, including business requirement documents (BRD), software requirement specifications (SRS), and scope proposals.

o Collaborate with UX, Creative, and Architecture teams to design prototypes, wireframes, and solution approaches.

o Oversee the SDLC process to ensure requirements are translated into viable, scalable, and reliable solutions.

o Partner with Delivery Leads to plan execution, including effort estimation, resource planning, and timelines.

· Team Leadership & Enablement

o Mentor and guide junior analysts, ensuring knowledge sharing, skill-building, and growth within the team.

o Track and manage project scope, effort vs. actuals, and budgets while ensuring alignment with client expectations.

o Foster Propel’s culture of psychological safety, continuous improvement, and collaboration.

o Identify and create training opportunities for team members to strengthen competencies and cross-functional expertise.

What You Bring

· 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or solution delivery.

· Proven expertise in gathering and analyzing requirements, translating them into actionable solutions.

· Strong understanding of SDLC processes and software delivery in digital transformation projects.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing consulting skills.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with prototyping/wireframing tools is a plus.

· Ability to work with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and handle ambiguity with structured problem-solving.
