Senior Brand & Marketing Manager


Role Overview

As the Senior Brand & Marketing Manager, you’ll lead brand strategy, creative execution, marketplace expansion, and cross-functional marketing initiatives. You will work closely with the founder and internal teams to nurture the brand’s narrative, accelerate visibility, and scale our presence across platforms.


Key Responsibilities


1. Brand & Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and lead integrated marketing strategies aligned with the brand’s vision and voice.
  • Build annual brand calendars and campaign roadmaps covering launches, influencer programs, PR opportunities, and community moments.
  • Ideate and deploy storytelling-driven campaigns across Instagram, YouTube, offline pop-ups, and collaborative partner activations.
  • Own promotional programs including sampling initiatives and limited-edition releases.


2. Marketplace Expansion & Distribution

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard national and international marketplaces (e.g., FirstCry, Parcos, Tira).
  • Build compelling product detail pages (PDPs) and launch assets that convert and reflect brand tone.
  • Work with operations and fulfilment teams to ensure seamless launch readiness.


3. Campaign Execution & Creative Coordination

  • Collaborate with the founder, content, and creative teams to conceptualize high-impact campaigns.
  • Coordinate with external partners—production houses, designers, influencers, PR teams, and event vendors.
  • Review, refine, and approve all creative assets to ensure consistent brand tonality.


4. Agency Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for PR, influencer, creative, and performance agencies.
  • Plan and oversee agency deliverables to ensure timely, high-quality execution.
  • Continuously evaluate agency performance and alignment with brand goals.


5. Performance & Brand Milestones

  • Define and track non-sales KPIs, including:
  • Influencer collaborations per quarter
  • Community growth metrics (email lists, PR lists, social DMs)
  • Instagram engagement benchmarks
  • Awards submissions & brand recognitions
  • Team expansion goals
  • Share regular performance updates with the founder and recommend proactive initiatives.


6. Competitor & Market Intelligence

  • Stay updated on D2C and premium skincare trends in India and globally.
  • Submit monthly competitor reports—launches, content trends, packaging shifts, influencer tie-ups.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on insights.


7. People Management & Team Collaboration

  • Manage and mentor content creators, interns, and community managers.
  • Conduct monthly reviews and developmental check-ins.
  • Actively participate in execution—this is not a desk-only role.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, ownership, and accountability.


8. Digital & CRM Strategy

  • Lead CRM initiatives—loyalty rewards, WhatsApp campaigns, user re-engagement.
  • Collaborate with tech/CX teams to improve bounce rates, cart abandonment, and email flows.
  • Manage affiliate programs and build relationships with top performers.


9. Inventory Forecasting & Launch Readiness

  • Forecast inventory for regular and limited-edition products.
  • Ensure timely procurement of PR boxes, freebies, outer packaging, and brand stationery.
  • Drive holistic launch readiness from digital assets to on-ground activations.
