As a Sr BI Engineers for Data Analytics, you will execute the Data visualization projects assigned to
you and will coordinate for the execution and delivery of the projects to customer. Sr BI Engineers
to work on the projects in Data Analytics Competence in Global IT Hub. You will work closely with team in
Atlas Copco
The Role
- We are looking for a passionate and committed Sr. Power BI developer to join the data
analytics team.
- As a Sr Power BI developer, you will be part of a team of the members of Data Analytics
Competence team who are continuously delivering valuable services to the Compressor
Technique Business Area of Atlas Copco. You will work together with product owners and data
engineers.
- You are responsible for the Power BI front-end design, development, and delivery for highly
visible data-driven applications in Atlas Copco Group. You always take a quality-first approach
where you ensure the data is visualized in a clear, accurate and user-friendly manner.
- You ensure standards and best practices are followed and ensure documentation is created
and maintained. Where needed, you take initiative and make recommendations to drive
improvements.
- In this role you will also be involved in the tracking, monitoring and performance analysis of
production issues and the implementation of bugfixes and enhancements.
- You have strong technical knowledge, specific knowledge of the Data Analysis tools,
methodologies, reporting etc.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
Skills and Experience
- Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data
into meaningful insights.
- Performing data modelling with DAX language with reporting KPI
- Create complex dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI
- Analyse data and present data through reports that aid decision-making.
- Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data
models.
- Chart creation and data documentation explaining algorithms, parameters, models, and
relations.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics.
- Analyse current ETL process, define and design new systems.
- Promote the use of standard Microsoft visualizations.
- Mentor and guide Junior team members
- Strong knowledge on BI development principles, time intelligence functions, dimensional
modelling and data visualization is required.
- You are a Power BI front-end developer that can develop performant data sets and appealing,
insightful visualizations.
- Advanced knowledge and minimum 3-6 years’ experience with professional BI development &
data visualization.
- You are experienced in data modelling and custom calculations.
- You can create complex visuals and KPI charts that are used on enterprise level.
- You have a good understanding of data warehousing and relational database concepts &
technologies.
- Experience and knowledge on scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python to setup and
automate Power BI platform related activities is an asset.
- Data Modelling skills
- Experience with any data virtualisation platform
- Working knowledge of ETL/data processing platform and data pipelines
- Be able to assemble large, complex data sets from multiple data sources that meet business
requirements.
- And be able to do this whilst being the sole data engineering resource as part of a larger
project team.
- Be able to create documentation on the data pipelines and data models developed.
- Have knowledge/experience of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Design/Build/Test/Deploy/Operate/Support/Change
- An appreciation/understanding of the need to create good quality software solutions suitable
for a large enterprise (and of what those qualities are)

performance improvement and suggestions
Must to have
- PowerBI, PowerApps, Azure platform, SQL, Python, DAX, Reporting KPI
- Excellent knowledge (oral and written) of English is required.
Nice to have.
- Knowledge/experience of Microsoft Azure applications and Azure data pipelines
- Experience of a Source Control system such as Git or SVN
- Working Knowledge of Agile scrum ceremonies.
Education
Any Graduate (B.E / B.Tech/MCA/MTech/BSc/MSc/MCS) in Engineering with 3-6 years of experience in
BI Engineering field , projects and tools.
Knowledge
- Good analytical skills: You feel comfortable working with numbers/data, e.g. collecting and
analysing trend graphs, combining the info with insights from ERP and previous site visits to
come to a sound conclusion.

- You like open communication and enjoy working with different cultures
You are decisive (not afraid of making errors and willing to learn by doing)
- Open minded; expect the unexpected (= stay sceptical when viewing at the data and info)
- Not afraid to approach other stakeholders (customer centre specialists, local engineering, or
