This isn’t a maintenance gig. This is architecture, orchestration, and ownership.

You’ll help design microservices, implement scalable APIs, and ensure data flows seamlessly from complex real-time systems (like call quality diagnostics and device telemetry) into actionable intelligence and automation pipelines.

What You'll Work On

Platform Engineering (Core Backend)

• Design and implement robust, cloud-native services using modern backend stacks (Node.js, Python, .NET Core, or similar).
• Build scalable APIs to surface data and actions across TeamsCoreIQ modules (call analytics, device insights, policy management, AI-based RCA).
• Integrate with Microsoft Graph APIs and Teams Calling infrastructure (Auto Attendants, Call Queues, Call Quality, Presence, Policies).
• Develop event-driven workflows using queues (Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ) for high-throughput ingestion and action pipelines.
• Work with real-time data stores, telemetry ingestion, and time-series analytics backends (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, InfluxDB, or equivalent).

Infrastructure & DevOps Support

• Help scale and secure workloads using Azure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Implement observability practices—logging, metrics, alerting—for zero-downtime insights and RCA.

Future-Forward (Agentic Track)

• Support the evolution of the backend toward intelligent agent orchestration:
• Build services that allow modular “agents” to retrieve, infer, and act (e.g. provisioning, remediation, escalation).
• Explore interfaces for integrating OpenAI, Azure AI, or RAG pipelines to make automation contextual and proactive.

What You Bring

Must-Have Technical Skills

• 2+ years backend engineering experience with production-grade systems.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Node.js, Python, Go, or .NET Core).
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design, GraphQL is a bonus.
• Experience building cloud-native apps on Azure (preferred), AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem: Graph API, Teams, Entra ID (AAD), SIP/VoIP call data a big plus.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases; data modeling and performance tuning.

Bonus (Not Mandatory, but Highly Valued)

• Exposure to AI/ML pipelines, LangChain, OpenAI API, or vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate).
• Background in observability, root-cause analysis systems, or voice analytics.
• Experience with policy engines, RBAC, and multi-tenant SaaS platforms.

Performance Expectations (First 30 Days)

ü Ship a core modules with full test coverage and observability.

ü Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and AI teams to support rapid iteration and experimentation.
