Senior Associate

Job Purpose The individual will play a key role in supporting the client around robust financial models, valuation analysis and result driven strategies. The person will closely interact with client’s team and assist them on Private Equity related workflows in timely manner, conduct quality check of reports, and build strong relationship. This opportunity is ideal for a private equity /investment banking / strategy consulting professional who is interested in working with leading global private equity funds and corporations. Candidates need to be dedicated and motivated individuals who have demonstrated academic excellence and have strong leadership, analytical, communication and teamwork skills. Key Responsibilities Supporting our clients to develop results-driven strategies, including financial modeling, critical industry or market analyses, competitive benchmarking and opportunity assessments through in depth primary and secondary research Valuation analysis through income method and multiples driven technique (Relative Valuation analysis) Capturing fund valuation data such as investment cost, realized / unrealized value, gross / net multiple, gross / net IRR and financial KPIs such as revenue, EBITDA, net debt etc. Supporting our clients with detailed financial models including market sizing, investment, DCF, M&A and LBO models Tracking the performance of operational KPIs and operational updates on quarterly basis Can lead the team of 2-3 analyst and associates Benchmarking companies on various financial and operating parameters to understand industry growth and profitability Modify and maintain all templates and reports as per requirement Support the Client's quarterly valuation process and making any edits required to the valuations template Interacting with very senior professionals at private equity firms and corporations Conducting quality check on reports Key Competencies Experience in and around Private equity/ Valuations / Financial Statement Analysis / Financial Modelling Basic knowledge and understanding of Private Equity, Fund of Funds and Financial Services Industry (FSI) trends Candidates should have strong understanding of various methods of valuations, including DCF and Relative valuation MBA in Finance, Economics or Business management / CFA Strong analytical, communication (written/verbal) and client engaging skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Ability to develop and maintain lasting relationships with senior professionals; good interpersonal skills; goal-oriented Ability to be a team player and contribute to the development of the team Strong work ethics, commitment to excel and proven ability to work with minimum supervision Previous experience in a similar role will be an added advantage Show more Show less
