Project Overview

We are modernizing the

Country Partnership Framework (CPF) platform

to align with the World Bank’s new

Country Engagement Model (CEM)

. This transformation will replace the legacy framework with a modern, secure, and high-performing platform, integrating

AI-driven features

to streamline workflows, improve user experience, and enhance collaboration across internal teams and country partners.The Angular Developer will play a key role in

designing and building front-end experiences

that are intuitive, responsive, and accessible, while integrating with back-end systems and AI-powered services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using Angular and related technologies.
• Build reusable UI components and libraries, ensuring consistency and scalability.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and services to fetch, display, and manage data.
• Collaborate with UX/UI Designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional user interfaces.
• Ensure accessibility (WCAG standards) and security compliance across all front-end components.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
• Write and execute unit tests, contributing to automated test coverage and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work closely with back-end developers, architects, and business analysts to ensure seamless integration.
• Contribute to AI-driven UI features such as smart suggestions, guided workflows, and contextual content display.
• Maintain clear documentation and support knowledge transfer for long-term sustainability.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Angular (latest versions), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience building responsive, accessible, and cross-browser web applications.
• Strong experience with API integration (RESTful services, JSON).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, Jest).
• Understanding of DevOps best practices (CI/CD pipelines, Git version control).
• Awareness of security and compliance requirements for enterprise applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional, multi-stakeholder teams.
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with AI-powered features in applications (e.g., contextual suggestions, smart assistants).
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles and collaboration with designers.
• Exposure to enterprise integrations (CRM, document repositories, workflow systems).
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Jira for Agile project tracking.
• Understanding of data visualization and reporting tools.
