hands-on Senior Analytics Engineer

This is a high-ownership role where your work will directly influence product decisions, growth strategy, and leadership reporting.

What You’ll Do

Own and evolve our analytics platform using
BigQuery, DBT, Looker, and Segment/Hevo
Lead
identity stitching
across Canvas LMS, internal product platforms, marketing tools, and CRM systems
Build and operate reliable
ELT pipelines
from product, marketing, CRM, support, and finance systems
Design and maintain well-tested, documented
DBT models
across analytics layers
Define and govern
trusted business metrics
through LookML and shared Looker explores
Integrate
Canvas (Instructure) LMS data
into centralized reporting workflows
Troubleshoot and resolve data quality and pipeline reliability issues end-to-end
Partner with product, growth, sales, and operations teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions
Improve data reliability, observability, and platform maintainability
Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across
US and India time zones

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have

Strong
SQL and DBT
experience with solid data modeling fundamentals
Hands-on experience with
BigQuery
(or Snowflake with ability to ramp quickly)
Proven experience building semantic layers in
Looker / LookML
Experience operating ELT pipelines using
Segment, Hevo, or Fivetran
Comfortable owning data reliability and working across multiple data domains

Nice to Have

Experience with marketing and CRM tools (Google Ads, Meta, HubSpot, Marketo)
Advanced event tracking (Segment, GA4, web/mobile instrumentation)
Exposure to LMS platforms, especially
Canvas
Python for light automation or custom ingestion
Prior work on
identity stitching or cross-platform user matching
