Senior Analytics Engineer

As a Senior Analytics Engineer at Skillz, you will play a key role in building a trusted data ecosystem, driving analytical insights, and enabling data-backed decision-making Youll partner with cross-functional teams to deliver clear, actionable insights, streamline reporting, and develop scalable data models that influence business outcomes Key Responsibilities Align dashboards with up logic and definitions; ensure accuracy and consistency across reporting Provide weekly KPI commentary and explain business performance trends to stakeholders Audit, consoli , and streamline dashboards to improve reliability and reduce redundancy Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover insights that drive measurable business impact Build reusable Snowflake models and automate key dashboards and business review reports Collaborate with stakeholders to identify performance drivers and share actionable recommendations Requirements 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data strategy roles Experience setting up ELT/ETL flows: Snowflake Tasks, Dynamic Tables, FiveTran, Airbyte, Airflow Experience with Tableau, Looker and/or PowerBI Strong understanding of data modeling, dashboard design, and performance measurement frameworks Familiarity with data testing, alerting, version control, and CI/CD for analytics workflows Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a focus on driving outcomes Experience or passion for the gaming industry preferred Bachelors/Masters degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields (preferred, not required) Join Skillz and Let's Redefine the Boundaries of Gaming!
