The Opportunity The Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns that drive enrollment, engagement, and revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical skills in email marketing platforms, segmentation, content creation, and analytics. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, this is an individual contributor role focused on maximizing the impact of our email marketing efforts. The ideal candidate should also be practiced in the end-to-end email QA process, including email client/device testing, campaign review, etc. What youll do Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies aligned with business goals and customer journeys to drive enrollment and revenue growth. Identify and segment key target audiences based on demographics, behaviors, and engagement data to deliver personalized and relevant email campaigns. Design, write, and optimize engaging email content (in Marketo and/or Hubspot) including promotional campaigns, and automated nurture sequences. Collaborate with content, design, and product teams to ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment across all email communications. Implement A/B testing and other optimization techniques to improve open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and overall campaign performance. Monitor and analyze campaign metrics and KPIs, providing actionable insights and regular performance reports to the Head of Marketing. Maintain and optimize email templates for desktop and mobile devices, ensuring high deliverability and user experience. Stay current with email marketing best practices, tools, and emerging technologies to continually enhance campaign effectiveness. Manage email marketing automation platforms and integrate with CRM and analytics tools for seamless data flow and lead nurturing. What youll bring 5+ years of proven experience managing email marketing campaigns, preferably in B2C or online education sectors. Proficiency with email marketing platforms, especially Marketo and Hubspot. Strong understanding of email list management, segmentation, and deliverability best practices. Experience with marketing automation, A/B testing, and campaign analytics. Excellent copywriting and editing skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email template editing is a plus. Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns under tight deadlines. Knowledge of privacy laws and email compliance regulations. Data-driven mindset with ability to interpret analytics and translate insights into actionable strategies.
