Job Description

Job Title: Account Executive

Department: Accounts and Administration
Reports To: Directors and HR Manager
Location: Deco-D Interiors Office(Pukkattupady , Ernakulam)

Role Overview

The Account Executive manages Deco-D’s daily accounting and office administration.
This person keeps accurate records of all income and expenses, supports the directors in budgeting and reporting, and helps the HR and operations teams maintain smooth coordination. The role requires attention to detail, honesty, and strong organisational skills.It suits someone who enjoys both numbers and people, and who can balance financial work with day-to-day administrative needs.

Main Responsibilities Accounts and Finance

· Prepare and record all bills, receipts, and payments on time.

· Maintain ledgers, project cost sheets, and monthly financial summaries.

· Coordinate with the factory manager, vendors, and suppliers for billing and payments.

· Prepare and update monthly statements for management review.

· Assist the directors in preparing budgets, cost tracking, and performance reports.

· Maintain records for audits, GST, TDS, and all statutory filings.

· Follow up with clients and suppliers for payments and required documents.

· Manage payroll and assist in attendance and salary processing.

· Share useful updates on project costs, profit, and cash flow with management.

· Ensure accuracy and compliance in all ERP entries and reconciliations (Zoho, Odoo and SAP).

Business and Growth Support

· Take part in annual and quarterly budget discussions with management.

· Track expense patterns and suggest cost-saving measures.

· Provide simple reports that help management understand company performance.

· Support the directors in financial planning and decision-making.

Administration

· Handle daily office work including record keeping, filing, and staff coordination.

· Maintain attendance, leave records, and employee documents in coordination with HR.

· Manage communication with service providers and vendors for office and factory requirements.

· Support the directors in scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining documentation.

· Ensure confidentiality of all company, client, and employee information.

· Coordinate with the HR department to implement HR processes, policies, and forms as guided.

· Report employee incidents or grievances to the HR Manager and assist with initial documentation.

Skills and Qualifications

· Graduate in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration.

· Two to five years of experience in accounting and office management.

· Good knowledge of Excel and accounting tools.

· Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, and other government-related filings.

· Proficient in ERP systems such as Zoho, Odoo and SAP.

· Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and time management.

· Able to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.

· Honest, organised, and professional in communication.
