Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with all local and national financial regulations.
• Expertly handle GST compliance, including accurate calculation, timely filing of returns, and reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial statements using Tally ERP/Prime software.
• Handle all aspects of finance management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis specific to the FMCG industry.
• Conduct internal audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial books.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and asset management.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (e.g., M.Com, MBA-Finance, CA/CMA Inter).
• Experience: Minimum 5-6 years of progressive experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Sector Experience: Mandatory prior experience working within the FMCG industry.
• Technical Skills: Must have expert-level working knowledge of GST principles and compliance, and high proficiency in Tally (ERP or Prime).
• Financial Acumen: Proven ability to manage complete finance handling, statutory compliance, and reporting.

Work Schedule

• Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Days: Monday to Saturday (Standard)
