Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial performance.
Review and finalize journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
Develop and implement efficient accounting systems, processes, and controls.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
Mentor and supervise junior accountants and accounting staff.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s/CA/CPA preferred).
Proven work experience (5–8 years) in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), taxation, and compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
