Senior Accountant

The Accountant shall be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations of construction projects, ensuring accurate accounting, cost control, statutory compliance, and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain books of accounts including cash book, bank book, ledgers, and journal entries
• Record and monitor all construction project–related expenses, receipts, and payments
• Prepare project-wise cost statements and budget vs actual analysis
• Handle contractor, supplier, and subcontractor billing and payments
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, and project accounts regularly
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Maintain GST and TDS records, prepare statutory returns, and ensure compliance
• Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audits
• Track advances, mobilization advances, retention money, and RA bills
• Assist in payroll processing and statutory deductions
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of vouchers, invoices, work orders, and contracts

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
• Hands-on experience in project accounting and construction cost control
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances related to construction
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally and MS Excel
