General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Cost Accounting: Analyze and allocate manufacturing costs, including direct materials, labor, and overhead. Monitor cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to prepare and manage budgets. Provide financial forecasts and analyze perfo
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory accounting, ensuring accurate valuation and cost of goods sold calculations.
Internal Controls & Compliance: Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Audit Coordination: Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit finding
Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax returns, including sales tax, property tax, and income tax.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
