Senior Account Executive

Role Overview:

The Senior Account Executive at Special You will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, handling vendor and customer reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update daily accounting entries in Tally/ERP system.
• Handle vendor and customer account reconciliations on a regular basis.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions efficiently.
• Prepare and review GST, TDS, and other statutory filings in coordination with the CA or finance team.
• Assist in monthly closing activities, including journal entries and financial reporting.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of petty cash, expense tracking, and bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate with internal departments (procurement, sales, warehouse) for billing and payment-related matters.
• Support in audit preparations and respond to auditor queries.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, or cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain confidentiality of company financial information at all times.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• 2 - 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in an e-commerce, retail, or trading company.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel, and familiarity with accounting software/tools.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and general accounting principles.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
