Senior Account Executive

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and analysis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant industry regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors during financial audits and implement recommendations.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to ensure accuracy and alignment with company goals.
• Monitor budget performance and prepare variance analyses.
• Cost Accounting:
• Analyze manufacturing costs and variances to support pricing strategies and operational efficiency.
• Implement and maintain cost control measures.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing and accurate reporting.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate payment terms.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Assist in tax preparation and filing processes.
• Financial Analysis:
• Conduct financial analyses to support business decisions, including ROI and profitability assessments.
• Provide insights on financial performance and suggest improvements.
• Team Leadership:
• Mentor and train junior accounting staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or chemical industries.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
