SAP Netweaver – Assistant Manager - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

• Implementation Services:
• • Landscape design.
  • Request and coordinate Cloud Platform (GCP, Azure) VM system builds, VIPs, firewall rules, and certificates.
  • System installations, including database (HANA), SAP components and specific add-ons.
  • System upgrades and migrations.
  • Installation of SAP patches, Support Packages, and Notes.
• System administration, including:
• • Performance & Optimization: Proactive monitoring, tuning, and optimization of SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BOBJ, BODS etc.) for peak performance and stability
  • Definition and verification of backup schedules.
  • Client copies.
  • System exports/copies/restores.
  • Database maintenance (HANA, MSSQL, MaxDB)
  • Security scans.
  • High availability/Disaster Recovery planning and testing.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed system documentation, procedures, and landscape diagrams.
• Solution Manager integration for monitoring and alerting.
• Preventive system monitoring and implementing corrective actions.
• Batch Job schedule maintenance.
• Data archival tasks.
• Component-specific maintenance for S/4HANA, Enterprise Portal, Fiori, Business Objects, Data Services, SLT, and TREX.
• Transport Management (TMS, NWDI).
• Technical support for projects and production operations.
• Coordinate activities with other NetWeaver administrators.

• Deep understanding and experience with SAP NetWeaver System Administration, including S/4HANA (ERP), Enterprise Portal, HANA platform, Solution Manager, Business Objects, Data Services, and SLT.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V and Windows Failover Clustering
• Good understanding of Active Directory, LDAP, Multi-Factor Authentication, and Single Sign-On.
• Proficiency in Linux/Windows OS environments.
• Coordination / trouble shooting skills with functional and technical resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology
• 6-9 years’ experience in a similar role and Enterprise organization.
