Job Summary:


General Insurance Trainer


Key Responsibilities:

Training Needs Identification (TNI):

  • Collaborate with department heads, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to identify training needs and define clear learning objectives.

Training Program Development:

  • Design and develop comprehensive training modules covering General Insurance products, processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Create structured training schedules and manage the logistics of in-person and virtual training sessions.

Training Delivery:

  • Conduct engaging training sessions, workshops, and webinars for sales teams, customer service agents, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure practical, application-oriented learning with role plays, case studies, and real-world examples.
  • Monitor training effectiveness through key business metrics and make adjustments as needed.

Content Management:

  • Maintain and regularly update training materials to reflect changes in insurance products, industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and business processes.
  • Leverage a mix of learning methods – e-learning, video content, in-person sessions, and multimedia resources – to maximize learning engagement.

Evaluation & Feedback:

  • Develop assessment tools (quizzes, case studies, role plays) to evaluate participant understanding and skill acquisition.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from participants to continuously enhance training content and delivery approach.

Performance Impact Tracking:

  • Measure and report on the impact of training interventions on business outcomes, such as sales performance, process adherence, and customer satisfaction.


Qualifications:



  • Proven experience in corporate, behavioral and soft skills training and development.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with various stakeholders and adapt training strategies to different audiences.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using training software and tools.
