Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Sales Lead
with a deep understanding of the fintech industry to manage a high-performing sales team. The Sales Lead will be responsible for driving revenue growth, implementing effective sales strategies, and fostering strong client relationships within the fintech sector. This is a leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with a track record of achieving sales targets and scaling business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Provide continuous coaching, support, and development to ensure individual and team success.
- Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate the fintech market.
- Identify key market opportunities and work with senior management to set realistic and achievable sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with both existing and prospective clients in the fintech sector.
- Understand client needs and challenges, tailoring solutions to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
- Business Development:
- Proactively identify new business opportunities within the fintech industry.
- Generate leads, engage with prospects, and lead negotiations to close deals and achieve revenue goals.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics in the fintech space.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging opportunities, ensuring alignment with overall sales strategy.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Monitor and track sales performance metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports and analysis to senior management, providing insights on performance and areas for improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a focus on the fintech industry(preferred).
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the fintech or software solutions space.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a sales team.
- Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
- In-depth understanding of the fintech market, emerging trends, and key industry players.
- Strong business development skills with a history of generating leads and closing deals.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales tracking software.
