About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic and high-performing SaaS sales professional who has a proven track record as an individual contributor and is now ready to take on broader ownership. This is not just a quota-carrying role—you’ll be our first sales hire, working directly with the founding team to shape our sales strategy, GTM approach, and long-term revenue engine.

As a Sales Manager at Samaaro, you will lead sales conversations with CMOs and marketing leaders of global brands, positioning Samaaro as a trusted solution in the event-tech space. You’ll manage the entire sales cycle—from prospecting and demos to closing deals—while also laying the groundwork to scale a high-performing sales team.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Contribute to refining and executing Samaaro’s GTM plan for enterprise and mid-market segments, including segmentation, messaging, and positioning.
  • Sales Strategy & Playbooks: Help shape our sales playbook, refine our ICP, build outreach scripts, and optimize our lead-to-close journey.
  • Lead Generation: Identify, prospect, and generate qualified opportunities through outbound outreach, inbound leads, and networking.
  • End-to-End Sales Management: Own the full sales cycle – from discovery, demos, proposals, and negotiation to deal closure.
  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate with prospects to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and address any inquiries or concerns.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of Samaaro’s solutions.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate and timely updates in our Zoho CRM.
  • Deal Closure & Forecasting: Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals, while maintaining accurate forecasting and deal progression in CRM.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities to refine sales strategies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer success, and product teams to align on campaigns, feedback loops, and upsell opportunities.
  • Foundational Team Building: As our first sales hire, help define sales KPIs, reporting cadence, and team structure as we grow.

Desired Candidature

  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in SaaS sales (mandatory). -
  • Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle and close deals independently.
  • Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using CRMs, sales tools, and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
  • Results-Oriented: A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, who thrives in achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
