Job Description

Sales Manager — Pest Control

Summary

Lead the field and inside sales teams to grow residential and commercial pest-control revenue, improve retention, and ensure safe compliant service delivery through coaching, territory management, and close cross-functional collaboration.

Core responsibilities

  • Revenue & targets: Own monthly and annual sales targets by territory, vertical (residential, commercial, multi-site), and product/service line.
  • Team leadership: Recruit, train, coach, and performance-manage outside sales reps, account managers, and sales technicians; run weekly pipeline reviews and monthly 1:1s.
  • Pipeline management: Maintain CRM hygiene, forecast accuracy, and deal-stage governance; convert leads from marketing, referrals, and technicians into closed business.
  • Account growth & retention: Drive renewals, upsell integrated service plans, and own strategic key accounts to reduce churn and expand share-of-wallet.
  • Compliance & safety alignment: Ensure sales proposals, contracts, and technician handoffs meet local licensing, certification, and safety requirements.
  • Local market development: Build relationships with property managers, facility managers, real-estate agents, and commercial procurement teams; develop channel partnerships.
  • Pricing & quoting: Set competitive pricing guidelines, approve large bids, and collaborate with operations to ensure profitable and deliverable scopes.
  • Reporting & continuous improvement: Track win/loss, monitor conversion metrics, and implement sales playbooks, objection-handling, and territory plans.

Required qualifications and experience

  • Experience: 4–8 years in B2B and B2C field sales with 2+ years managing a sales team; experience selling pest control, facilities services, or other field services strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with pest management service models, contracts (recurring service agreements), and typical commercial procurement cycles.
  • Certifications: Understanding of local/state licensing requirements for pest control; ready to coordinate with certified applicators and ensure sales compliance.
  • Skills: Proven quota attainment, strong negotiation and presentation ability, CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and Excel-based reporting.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; technical or industry certifications a plus.
  • Other: Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel within the territory and attend customer sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
