Job Overview: As a Sales Manager at Bar Code India, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by promoting and selling advanced technology solutions including AIDC, RFID, IoT, Software, and Automation offerings. This role focuses on industries such as Retail, E-commerce, Manufacturing , and Automotive , with a focus on managing and growing business across Chennai and Tamil Nadu . This is an individual contributor role best suited for someone with strong consultative selling skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to build long-term client partnerships. You will engage with key decision-makers, understand business challenges, and deliver tailored tech solutions that solve real operational problems. Key Responsibilities: Customer Engagement & Account Management: Conduct regular client visits across Tamil Nadu , including corporate offices and factory sites. Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in Retail, E-commerce, Manufacturing, and Automotive sectors. Identify new business opportunities and foster deep client partnerships. Product & Industry Knowledge: Stay current on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies across AIDC, IoT, and Automation . Demonstrate a clear understanding of BCI’s offerings to recommend the best solutions based on customer needs. Sales Strategy & Solution Selling: Develop and implement go-to-market strategies to achieve sales targets. Use consultative selling techniques to map client requirements and propose customized RFID, Automation, IoT, and software solutions. Collaborate with technical and pre-sales teams for solution design and implementation. Proposal Development: Create and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations. Ensure timely submission of accurate documentation including RFPs, RFIs, and contracts. Negotiation & Closure: Lead contract negotiations and successfully close deals. Ensure high win rates while delivering value to customers and meeting internal sales quotas. Customer Success: Partner with customer success and project delivery teams to ensure seamless post-sale implementation. Maintain high client satisfaction to drive retention and repeat business. Requirements Skills Required:  Proven B2B sales experience in AIDC, IoT, RFID, Software , and/or Automation solutions.  Strong understanding of customer challenges in Retail, E-commerce, Manufacturing, and Industrial Automation .  Demonstrated success in managing sales across Tamil Nadu , preferably with a base in Chennai .  Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.  Experience in managing long sales cycles and enterprise-level accounts.  Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.  Results-oriented with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
