Job Description

As a Team Lead - Sales at Ideametrics Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for leading a team of Business Development Executives to achieve sales targets in the engineering design and simulation solutions sector. Your role will involve training the team on lead generation, client conversion, and negotiation strategies to drive lead conversion from prospect to closure. You will need to have a BE/MBA qualification with 6 to 8 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably in the engineering or technology sector. Additionally, having a Mechanical Engineering background will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, guide, and motivate a team of Business Development Executives to achieve sales targets. - Train the team on lead generation, client conversion, and negotiation strategies. - Set clear sales goals, track performance, and provide timely feedback to ensure accountability. - Drive lead conversion from prospect to closure with a solution-focused approach. - Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring regular follow-ups. - Develop and execute sales strategies for assigned markets to achieve business growth. - Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to align client requirements with company capabilities. - Establish structured sales processes for lead generation, follow-ups, and closing deals. - Provide regular updates on pipeline, client interactions, and market insights to senior management. Qualifications Required: - BE/MBA with proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles. - Preferred background in the engineering or technology sector, with Mechanical Engineering considered an advantage. - Fluent in English with strong international client-handling exposure. - Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills. - Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. - Analytical mindset to identify trends, customer needs, and business opportunities. - Results-driven attitude with commitment to achieving and exceeding team sales targets. - Impeccable listening and problem-solving skills. - Ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure. - Strong relationship-building skills with clients and internal stakeholders.
