The primary objective of the Field Sales Executive/Engineer is to identify sales opportunities, perform technical site assessments, provide solar energy solutions, and ensure successful sales closures across residential, commercial, and industrial customers, contributing to the company’s business growth in compliance with ISO-defined sales procedures.
The candidate must hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering or an equivalent technical field. A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in solar or renewable energy sales is preferred. Candidates must possess strong communication and presentation skills, a customer-centric mindset, and a willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and basic understanding of solar systems is required.
The Field Sales Executive is authorized to meet clients on behalf of the company, collect site-specific information, submit standard proposals within approved pricing limits, and liaise with internal departments for technical and commercial support.
The Field Sales Executive is responsible for conducting all field-level sales activities, client follow-ups, proposal submissions, and achieving assigned targets in compliance with organizational sales procedures and ISO standards.
The individual must follow safety guidelines during all site visits. This includes using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to company’s health and safety protocols, and immediately reporting any unsafe conditions or incidents.
The role requires the candidate to undergo induction training on company processes and solar product offerings. Periodic refresher training on technical knowledge, safety procedures, and sales skills will be provided as part of continuous professional development.
