Sales Development Manager

Role Overview: As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Leader at Glean, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of SDRs in Bangalore, with a focus on generating pipeline and creating qualified opportunities for the Sales Development team. Your role will involve recruiting, coaching, and mentoring the team, as well as collaborating with GTM leadership to execute strategic growth plans. You will also be instrumental in developing scalable sales systems and processes to drive revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team of SDRs to generate pipeline and create qualified opportunities, with market experience in APAC, EMEA, or North America - Recruit, coach, and mentor SDRs, providing training in sales skills and product/industry understanding - Collaborate with GTM leadership to build and execute strategic growth plans - Define, manage, and optimize KPIs and metrics for the SDR team - Work with Marketing to provide feedback on MQLs and campaigns - Foster a culture rooted in respect, honesty, and transparency, driving diversity and inclusion practices - Develop specific sales goals and tactics to accelerate growth - Continuously evaluate and optimize results, making data-driven recommendations Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience with a track record of exceeding goals - Minimum of 2 years of experience leading sales development teams in an outbound sales environment - Proficiency with Salesforce and other sales enablement tools - Experience in building and scaling an SDR or BDR team - Passion for making an impact and supporting team growth - Ability to leverage data for decision-making and process improvements - Curiosity around technology and ability to articulate value points to customers (Note: Compensation and benefits details have been omitted from the Job Description),
