Position Summary

The Sales Coordinator (Cyber Security) supports the sales team by managing operational processes, coordinating with clients and internal stakeholders, and ensuring smooth execution of sales activities. This role requires strong organizational skills, understanding of cybersecurity products and services, and the ability to manage sales pipelines, documentation, and customer communication effectively.


Key Responsibilities

Sales Support & Coordination

  • Assist the cybersecurity sales team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, CRM entries, and pipeline updates.
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, RFP/RFI responses, and supporting documents.
  • Coordinate product demos, cybersecurity assessments, and technical meetings between clients and pre-sales engineers.
  • Monitor ongoing sales projects and ensure deliverables, timelines, and client expectations are met.

Client Communication & Engagement

  • Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries, scheduling, and follow-ups.
  • Track customer renewals for cybersecurity services such as SOC monitoring, endpoint protection, vulnerability assessments, etc.
  • Assist in managing onboarding for new clients and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Generate weekly/monthly sales performance reports and dashboards.
  • Maintain documentation for contracts, NDAs, service agreements, and compliance materials.
  • Support internal audits by ensuring documentation meets cybersecurity and data-handling standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with marketing teams to coordinate cybersecurity events, webinars, lead-generation campaigns, and product launches.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand product features, service updates, and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with finance on billing, quotations, purchase orders, and invoicing.

Skills & Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales coordination, preferably in cybersecurity, IT, or technology sectors.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills.

Preferred

  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, cloud security).
  • Experience creating sales proposals for technical solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, technical sales environment.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards like ISO 27001, GDPR, or NIST is a plus.
