About the Role
We are seeking a Interior Designer – Client Conversion & Business Development, a hybrid role where design expertise meets business acumen.You will focus exclusively on pre-sales / client conversion: understanding requirements, preparing presentations, and ensuring successful closure.Once the client commits, the project will be assigned to a Principal Designer, and you will move on to the next client.This role is ideal for a smart, client-facing designer who enjoys combining design knowledge with business development skills to drive tangible results.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Engagement & Lead Management• Connect with leads generated through marketing campaigns or personal networks.• Understand client requirements, assess feasibility (materials, measurements, budget), and provide realistic solutions.• Conduct client meetings, building trust and strong relationships from the first interaction to closure.Design Presentations & Pre-Sales• Prepare design presentations and visual proposals that effectively communicate ideas and solutions.• Use expertise in materials, measurements, and execution feasibility to advise clients confidently.• Collaborate with the design team to ensure presentations reflect accurate possibilities and pricing.Business Development & Conversion• Drive end-to-end client conversion, ensuring consistent achievement of revenue targets.• Leverage existing networks of architects, real estate developers, and HNIs to generate new business opportunities.• Track market trends, competitor offerings, and client feedback to inform sales strategy.Internal Coordination• Hand over confirmed projects to Principal Designers and ensure smooth transition post-conversion.• Provide insights from client interactions to marketing and strategy teams for lead improvement.• Report progress, pipeline status, and closures directly to the CEO.What We’re Looking For• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Interior Design / Architecture with client-facing exposure.• Strong knowledge of materials, measurements, feasibility, and design standards.• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.• Proven ability to drive client conversion and achieve sales targets.• Self-motivated, smart, and target-driven professional.• Existing network with architects, developers, or HNI clients is a plus.What We Offer• Competitive Fixed + Variable CTC linked to performance.• Direct reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.• Opportunity to work on premium residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.• High-visibility role with a focus on business growth and client engagement.• Entrepreneurial environment where your contribution directly impacts revenue.
