Marketing Intern Job Description Job Brief We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Intern to join our marketing department and provide support in developing and implementing marketing strategies. This internship will offer you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and learn about various aspects of marketing, including digital, content, and market research. Responsibilities The Marketing Intern will collaborate with the team on various projects, with duties including, but not limited to: Market Research & Analysis Conduct market research on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities. Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns. Assist in analyzing market data and customer behavior to provide insights. Content & Social Media Assist in the creation of engaging content for various channels (e.g., social media posts, blog articles, promotional emails). Support social media management, including drafting, scheduling, and monitoring posts across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). Monitor social media for trending news, ideas, and feedback, and engage with the online community. Campaign & Administrative Support Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks and project coordination. Help distribute marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and digital assets. Assist in updating and managing the company database and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Contribute to the organization and execution of marketing events (e.g., webinars, trade shows). Prepare and update promotional presentations and reports. Requirements and Skills Qualifications Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. A strong desire to learn and a passion for the marketing industry. Ability to commit to the duration of the internship (e.g., 3-6 months). Skills and Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills (essential for content creation and team collaboration). Solid understanding of basic marketing techniques and principles. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace. Analytical skills to interpret data and campaign results. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Familiarity with marketing software or online applications (e.g., CRM tools, Google Analytics, social media scheduling tools) is a plus.
