Role Overview The Sales & Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, achieving revenue targets, and expanding the company’s market presence. This role involves prospecting, presenting solutions, negotiating deals, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead Generation & Prospecting Identify potential clients through market research, networking, cold calling, and social media. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline. Generate qualified leads and schedule client meetings. 2. Client Management Understand client needs and propose suitable products/services. Deliver presentations, demos, and customized solutions to prospects. Maintain strong, long-term client relationships to drive repeat business. 3. Sales Execution Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and close deals effectively. Prepare and send proposals, quotations, and follow-ups. 4. Market & Competitor Analysis Gather insights on industry trends and competitors’ offerings. Identify new markets, customer segments, and partnership opportunities. 5. Reporting & Documentation Maintain updated records in CRM tools or databases. Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to management. Coordinate with internal teams (operations, marketing, finance) for smooth order execution. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred). Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers. Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Basic understanding of CRM tools, MS Office, and sales methodologies. Prior experience in sales or business development is an added advantage.
