Job Description

This Sales position is responsible for Client Relationship Management for IT Channel clients,

New Business Development and Market Expansion, Sales Strategy Execution and Contract Negotiation and Closure.


Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management for IT Channel clients

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with IT channel clients, including OEM’s, Value-Added Resellers (VARs), Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Distributors, and System Integrators.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organisations.
  • Understand clients' business objectives, challenges, and pain points to position IT services as solutions that add value and drive business outcomes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular client review meetings.
  • Manage the sales pipeline effectively from RFP to deal closure, using CRM tools and reporting mechanisms to track progress and forecast accurately.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews and sales forecasting meetings to provide visibility into the status of opportunities and identify potential risks and opportunities.


New Business Development and Market Expansion

  • Proactively identify, research, and engage new prospective IT channel partners and end clients to expand the company’s customer base.
  • Establish relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target organisations, positioning the company’s capabilities and value proposition effectively.
  • Qualify new leads, assess commercial and technical fit, and progress opportunities from initial contact through to proposal and closure.


Sales Strategy Execution

  • Assist in the execution of a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration within assigned accounts.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling IT services to existing clients based on their evolving needs and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including the technical team, delivery managers, and customer experience team, to develop proposals.


Contract Negotiation and Closure

  • Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions while protecting the company's interests.
  • Work closely with compliance and finance teams to finalise contracts and ensure the timely closure of deals.
