Shape how India sees, feels, and experiences SharkNinja. As the architect of our India-first retail design language, you’ll translate global brand guidelines into locally resonant, high-impact visual stories—across Retail Stores, Modern Trade, Traditional Trade and Premium malls. This role owns the end-to-end Design → Build → Deploy ecosystem for all consumer-facing fixtures—balancing creativity, cost discipline, and speed at scale.
Define SharkNinja India’s Design Philosophy
- Create an India-centric visual identity for retail environments that aligns with global brand standards while reflecting local aesthetics, behaviors, and spatial constraints.
End-to-End Fixture Lifecycle Leadership
- Conceptualize, prototype, and deploy modular, scalable, and brand-elevating fixtures across multiple channels: – Modern Trade (Croma, Reliance Digital, etc.) – Traditional Trade (distributor hubs, premium retail partners) – High-footfall zones
POSM Strategy, Design & Deployment
Lead end-to-end POSM (Point-of-Sale Material) creation—including header boards, shelf talkers, wobblers, demo station graphics, window decals, floor graphics, and digital-physical hybrid assets. Design POSM that is on-brand, benefit-led, and retail-ready—optimized for quick comprehension in
Adapt global POSM templates for India-specific messaging, regional languages (where relevant), pricing structures, and regulatory requirements (e.g. warranty info). Own print production: partner with pre-vetted printers to ensure color accuracy, material quality, and cost efficiency across short and long print runs. Build a modular POSM system that allows for easy updates (e.g., seasonal campaigns, new product launches) without full reprinting. Ensure seamless integration of POSM with fixtures—no ad-hoc stickering; every graphic must feel intentional and engineered. Manage pan-India POSM deployment logistics, including inventory planning, replenishment cycles, and retailer coordination—minimizing stockouts and wastage.
Build a Future-Ready Vendor Ecosystem
- Build and manage a curated network of industrial designers, fabricators, logistics vendors, and installation agencies across India.
- Lead negotiations and establish SLAs to ensure high quality at optimized costs.
- Evaluate partners not just on price—but on material sourcing transparency, craftsmanship, and after-sales support.
Drive Cost-Optimized Scale Deployment
- Own pan-India rollout logistics—from metro launches to Tier 1 activations—with emphasis on speed, consistency, and asset lifecycle management.
Elevate Visual Merchandising (VM) Standards
- Embed VM best practices across all touchpoints—ensuring product storytelling, demo functionality, color zoning, and consumer engagement drive conversion and brand premiumness.
Benchmark & Innovate
- Continuously scan the competitive landscape and global retail trends to future-proof SharkNinja’s in-store presence.
- Pilot innovations like QR-enabled POSM, reusable graphic sleeves, or anti-glare laminates.
Requirements
- 5 -6 years in retail design, visual merchandising, or brand activation, preferably with a premium brand in consumer tech or appliances.
- Hands-on experience managing both fixtures and POSM—from creative concept to in-store execution in India.
- Strong material and print production knowledge: understanding of substrates (foam board, PVC, vinyl, paper stocks), lamination types, printing techniques (digital, offset, large-format), and finishing.
- Portfolio demonstrating integrated retail environments where fixtures and POSM work as one cohesive system.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), SketchUp, and basic print prep workflows.
- Experience managing print vendors and fixture fabricators with a focus on quality control, lead times, and cost optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Merchandising, Communication Design, or related field.
