Description
You will be joining Licious, a Bengaluru-based meat and seafood company established in 2015 by Abhay Hanjura and Vivek Gupta. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design process for retail stores, ensuring seamless execution from concept development to final drawings. Your responsibilities will include defining and maintaining the visual language, materiality, and brand identity of Licious retail formats, translating brand and business objectives into spatial design strategies, and collaborating with stakeholders to bring design visions to life. In this role, you will work closely with the founders and senior leadership to align design direction with the company's vision. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Projects, Operations, Marketing, and Visual Merchandising will be essential to ensure the successful implementation of design intent. You will be responsible for developing layout plans, detailed drawings, and 3D visuals for retail stores of various formats and sizes, as well as creating Good for Construction drawings and design documentation in line with timelines and cost objectives. Additionally, you will conduct site visits to assess local challenges, maintain design adaptability while upholding brand aesthetics, and continuously explore new formats, materials, and sustainability opportunities to enhance the in-store experience. Participation in design process updates, drawing standards, and review protocols will also be part of your responsibilities to facilitate scalable design delivery. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution and have 5-10 years of relevant experience in architectural design, preferably in retail, F&B, or experiential spaces. Strong ownership of the design process, proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D tools like Sketchup or 3D Studio Max, along with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, are essential requirements. Your strong visualization skills, attention to detail, spatial thinking abilities, and commercial acumen will be critical for success in this role. Moreover, your ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, adapt to changing requirements, and demonstrate excellent communication, team-building, and project management skills will be key attributes that we are looking for in a candidate.,
