Position Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day execution of restaurant/property operations, maintaining operational efficiency, supervising staff, monitoring financials, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities & KRAs:

Property Inspection & Maintenance – 15%

• Conduct daily property walkthroughs to identify gaps in cleaning, maintenance, or operational areas.
• Coordinate minor maintenance tasks with the staff and escalate major issues
• Ensure proper inventory stacking, labeling, and tagging during weekly audits.
• Monitor duty allocations prepared by team leads to ensure operational readiness.

Operational Oversight & Evaluation – 25%

• Review and verify manager and chef checklists, reports, requirement sheets, and attendance/salary records.
• Assist during peak operational hours to ensure smooth functioning.
• Evaluate performance of operational staff and provide feedback.
• Verify daily closing reports and monthly reports (MIS, DFR, P&L).
• Supervise the work and duty allocation of assistant managers or department heads.

Financial & Inventory Management – 10%

• Monitor daily expenses and review the daybook for unnecessary costs.
• Conduct random audits of cash, inventory, and stores twice a month.
• Reconcile vendor orders and bills by the 10th of every month.
• Ensure inventory consumption is controlled and no excess stock is ordered.
• Monitor billing, sales, and POS modifications to prevent discrepancies.

Team Management & Motivation – 20%

• Conduct regular one-on-one interactions with managers and chefs to discuss operational challenges.
• Organize monthly meetings with service, bar, and kitchen teams to address concerns.
• Plan and execute team-building activities monthly.
• Evaluate and coordinate staff training programs.
• Support hiring and onboarding of new team members.
• Ensure clear communication, conflict resolution, and motivation among staff.

Customer Relations & Market Awareness – 20%

• Maintain professional relationships with guests and address concerns.
• Review sample guest interactions, reservation chats, and social media inquiries for quality assurance.
• Monitor online reviews on Zomato, Google, and other platforms.
• Stay updated on market trends and operational best practices to enhance customer experience.

Sales & Target Support – 10%

• Assist in planning and tracking sales targets for operational teams.
• Review DFR and suggest operational improvements to boost revenue.
• Recommend strategies for upselling and achieving operational goals.
• Support in planning incentive schemes and motivating the team to achieve targets.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in F&B or hospitality.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Knowledge of financial monitoring, inventory management, and team training.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
