Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Sales Head for Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of sales leadership experience, specifically working with high-ticket products and catering to High worth individuals (HNI) and premium customers. This role requires a proactive leader with a proven track record in team management, strategy development, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership and Strategy Development:
• Develop and implement regional sales strategies in alignment with company goals to maximize revenue growth in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with HNI and premium clients.
• Design and execute high-impact sales initiatives tailored to the regional market to drive business growth.
Team Management and Performance Oversight:
• Lead, manage, and mentor a sales team of over 100 members, ensuring their professional development and alignment with company standards.
• Monitor team members' performance, ensuring daily tasks are completed and sales targets are achieved consistently.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
Training and Capability Building:
• Develop and deliver sales training programs for team members, enhancing their skills in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
• Provide ongoing support and coaching to ensure continuous improvement and personal growth within the team.
Customer Relationship Management:
• Ensure excellent customer service levels are maintained across all touchpoints.
• Gather insights on customer needs and market trends to drive business decisions and customize sales approaches.
Target Achievement and Market Penetration:
• Develop and execute a clear roadmap to achieve and exceed sales targets in each of the three states.
• Work closely with distributors and retailers to increase market presence and build brand equity for our premium products.
Reporting and Analysis:
• Track and report on sales performance, including sales forecasting and market analysis.
• Use data insights to make informed decisions, optimize team performance, and adjust strategies as needed.
Key Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
• MBA in Marketing or equivalent qualification is required.
Experience:
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Sales Head, working with high-ticket products and premium customers.
• Experience handling a sales team of 100+ members with a strong focus on leadership, team building, and target achievement.
Regional Expertise:
• In-depth knowledge of the market in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, with at least the last 5 years of experience in the regional market.
Skills and Competencies:
• Proven experience in strategy development, sales team training, and capability building.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and drive a large team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with HNI clients.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret sales data, develop insights, and adjust plans accordingly.
