Quality Head
to lead our
Quality Assurance (QA) function
and drive continuous improvement in product, process, and service quality across the organization. The Quality Head will be responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining robust
quality assurance processes, testing frameworks, and compliance standards
that ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.This is a strategic leadership role that requires strong technical expertise in
quality assurance methodologies, testing practices, and process controls
, as well as proven experience in building and leading high-performing QA teams. The ideal candidate should have a
minimum of 13+ years of experience
in quality assurance, with demonstrated success in managing end-to-end QA programs in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy
- Define the overall quality assurance strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Provide strategic direction on process improvements, automation, and innovation in QA practices.
- Quality Assurance Processes
- Establish and maintain standardized QA processes, methodologies, and best practices across the organization.
- Ensure that QA processes are integrated into the product lifecycle, from requirements gathering to post-release support.
- Develop and implement metrics and KPIs to monitor process efficiency and product quality.
- Quality Assurance Testing
- Oversee the design, development, and execution of manual and automated testing frameworks.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage, including functional, non-functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify and resolve defects proactively.
- Compliance & Standards
- Ensure that all quality processes comply with regulatory standards, certifications, and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and root cause analyses to identify gaps and implement corrective measures.
- Drive initiatives to achieve and maintain industry-specific quality certifications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure quality is embedded into every stage of delivery.
- Act as the voice of quality in cross-functional forums, influencing design and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement customer feedback into quality improvement initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement
- Lead initiatives to reduce defects, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance product reliability.
- Introduce innovative QA tools, automation practices, and data-driven insights to optimize efficiency.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement across all quality functions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 13+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in QA testing methodologies, QA processes, and quality management systems.
- Proven experience in building and scaling QA teams.
- In-depth knowledge of manual and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field.
