Quality Head

As the Quality Head at our company located in Faridabad sector-6, you will be responsible for leading and managing the quality assurance team, providing guidance and support. Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing quality management systems (QMS) and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations such as IATF and ISO 9001, and driving a culture of quality throughout the organization. You will be required to conduct regular audits and inspections of processes, products, and suppliers, identify and address quality issues by implementing corrective and preventative actions, and develop and maintain quality control plans and procedures to ensure products meet customer specifications and industry standards. In this role, you will also be expected to identify areas for improvement in quality processes, implement solutions using quality tools and techniques like Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues. Supplier management will be a crucial aspect of your responsibilities, including evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality performance, monitoring supplier performance, and conducting supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards. As the Quality Head, you will develop and manage the quality budget, identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality, prepare and present quality reports to management and stakeholders, and effectively communicate quality issues and corrective actions. The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Automotive, Metallurgical) or a related field, significant experience (10+ years) in quality management, preferably in the autocomponents or steel/metal industry. Strong knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001, IATF, proficiency in quality tools and techniques like SPC, MSA, FMEA, and knowledge of manufacturing processes in the autocomponents or steel/metal industry are essential. Key skills required for this role include strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in relevant software such as SAP and ERP.
