Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Quality Head to lead the Quality Assurance & Quality Control functions Nashik. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the automobile/auto component industry and ensure adherence to customer-specific requirements, quality systems, and statutory compliances.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage the Quality Department, including QA, QC, and Supplier Quality functions.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards.
• Establish and monitor quality control systems, inspection standards, and procedures.
• Develop and implement preventive measures to reduce internal rejections, customer complaints, and warranty issues.
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA), corrective actions (CAPA), and continual improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with key customers (M\&M, Tata) for audits, new product development (PPAP, APQP), and quality issue resolutions.
• Conduct regular supplier audits and ensure adherence to quality standards across the supply chain.
• Train and develop the quality team to build a strong culture of quality and compliance.
• Work closely with Production, Design, and Purchase teams for quality improvements and process optimization.
• Ensure proper documentation, MIS reports, and data analysis for management reviews.

Key Skills & Competencies :

• Strong knowledge of Automobile industry quality standards and practices.
• Hands-on experience in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and 7 QC Tools.
• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
• Leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on process improvements.
