Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning & Design:
• Analyze requirements to create comprehensive test plans and cases for Salesforce CRM.
• Design and implement robust test frameworks and strategies for Salesforce applications.
• Identify and prepare test data.
• Participate in requirement reviews to ensure testability.
• Test Execution:
• Execute manual test cases across various Salesforce clouds and custom applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, UAT, and performance testing.
• Document test results accurately and maintain traceability.
• Defect Management:
• Identify, document, and track defects using a bug tracking system.
• Provide clear, concise, and reproducible steps for defects.
• Analyze test results, identify, and document issues for resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams for timely defect resolution.
• Verify bug fixes and conduct retesting.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on best practices.
• Communicate test progress, results, and risks to stakeholders.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Documentation & Process Improvement:
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.
• Continuously improve testing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain and update test case repositories and QA documentation.
• Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases and features.
  

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience:
• 6+ years of experience in manual software quality assurance.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience specifically testing Salesforce CRM applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.).
• Solid understanding of Salesforce standard functionalities, configurations, and custom development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components is a plus).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., Zephyr, TestRail, qTest) and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps).
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Platform App Builder certification.
• Experience with data migration testing in Salesforce.
• Familiarity with automation testing concepts and tools (though this is a manual QA role, understanding helps).
