Job Title/Designation: - Quality Control & Compliance Officer – Notebook Manufacturing Work Location: - Greater Noida Division/Department:- Quality Assurance Reports to: - Factory Manager / Quality Head Employment Type: - Permanent:- Yes Temporary: - No Job Purpose: Responsible for maintaining product quality and compliance across all stages of notebook manufacturing — from raw material inspection to final product dispatch — ensuring adherence to national and international standards. Key Responsibilities: · Inspect incoming materials (paper, board, cover, glue, wire, packaging). · Conduct in-process quality checks during printing, folding, stitching, and binding. · Inspect finished goods for size, ruling accuracy, binding strength, and packaging. · Maintain inspection reports, test results, calibration, and batch records. · Coordinate with external labs for product testing as per BIS / ASTM / EN71 / CPSIA standards. · Handle customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement CAPA. · Ensure compliance with ISO, FSC, SEDEX, and other customer audit requirements. · Train production staff on quality awareness and SOPs. Qualifications & Experience: · Diploma / B.Sc / B.Tech in Paper Technology, Printing, Mechanical, or related field. · 3–4 years’ experience in stationery or paper product manufacturing. · Knowledge of quality systems, BIS/ISO standards, and testing protocols. Skills Required: · Strong attention to detail and documentation. · Hands-on knowledge of quality inspection tools. · Good communication and analytical skills. · Proficient in MS Excel / ERP systems. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): · Reduction in rejections & rework. · Timely closure of customer complaints. · 100% adherence to quality standards & audit compliance.
